The IMC Club’s purpose is to promote instrument flying, proficiency and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in instrument flying.

TOPIC: FAA Master Pilot award and RAF presentation
Prior to the safety seminar, Rob Mark will be awarded the Master Pilot Award by the FAA. Rob has been flying for in excess of 50 years without an incident. Rob publishes Jetwhine and is a Senior Editor of Flying Magazine. The award will be presented by the DuPage FSDO representatives.
The Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) was founded by a group of Montana pilots who realized the threat of recreational airstrip closure was of national concern. They also recognized that there was the need for a unified effort by pilots everywhere to protect public recreational opportunities. The RAF is dedicated to preserving existing airstrips and actually creating new public-use recreational airstrips throughout the United States. Recognized by the IRS as a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
